Lesson Six
Although I am not a fan of the IPA (International Phonetics Alphabet) many of you, no doubt will find it useful, especially for foreign languages. As far as I am concerned, it is a good visual guide for "spelling out" sounds. However, it is another brick in a large wall, and it creates yet another learning curve. Accuracy is, for most, easier to get using sounds, as this is how we learn to speak naturally.
However, if you are a visual learner, then it should be of help remembering how to pronounce foreign words, and English words as well.
